Saturday, May 16th, was a night full of laughter, celebration, a few tears, and beautiful memories. It was also a night to recognize over thirty years of hard work and dedication by our founders, Dr. Lawrence D. Dorr, Mary Ellen Sieben, and Jeri Ward, as well as hundreds of volunteers and supporters who have joined the mission over the past three decades.
Thank you to our Steering Committee, Gala sponsors, Annandale Golf Club, and most of all our volunteers who pulled together to create a truly unforgettable evening for all who attended.
Although our final numbers are not quite calculated, preliminary reports have us at over $300,000. These generous donations will help our team travel to the Philippines this summer to restore mobility to waiting patients and beyond.
2027 looks to be an exciting year, with new mission sites and new memories. Check back often for more updates on the Gala and the bright future of Operation Walk Los Angeles.
